Cosmetic dentistry, also referred to as aesthetic dentistry or esthetic dentistry is the branch of dentistry that specifically deals with ways to improve the appearance of your teeth.  If you want to have your teeth straightened because you have crooked, uneven or spaced teeth, cosmetic dentistry may be the answer to your problem.  If you are looking for whiter teeth by removes discolorations or stains, cosmetic dentistry may be the answer to your problem.  There are a variety of services available for those in need of cosmetic dentistry, such as:

• White dental fillings – when you have a dental cavity, a white dental filling may be an option if you want to the teeth in your mouth to remain white.  White dental fillings usually cost more than the traditional amalgam dental fillings.  You may also want to swap out all your old amalgam dental fillings and them replaced with white dental fillings.
• Lumineers – Lumineers by Cerinate are very thin dental porcelain veneers that are bonded to the front of your teeth by your dentist. Lumineers can be used to regenerate existing bridgework and crowns; and correct chipped, fanged, uneven, crooked, spaced, discolored or stained teeth. Dental Lumineers can improve the appearance of the teeth but they cannot realign the jaw or correct overbites and under bites.  To realign your jaw or correct overbites and under bites, Invisalign or Traditional braces may be the cosmetic dentistry service you are looking for.
• Veneers - Veneers are thin porcelain or resin composite shells that are bonded to your teeth by a certified dentist to improve the shape, color, size or length of your teeth.  Veneers can fix discolored teeth, teeth that are worn down, chipped, broken, misaligned, uneven and irregularly shaped or spaced teeth. Two disadvantages of veneers is that the procedure is not reversible and is somewhat painful depending on your threshold for pain.  Because we have to trim and reshape your teeth before your veneers are applied anesthetic or numbing shots may be required to relieve the pain.
• Invisalign – Invisalign is a teeth straightening system designed to gradually straighten your teeth invisibly by using a series of clear, removable aligners. Invisalign, invisible braces, straightens your teeth without using bands, metal brackets or metal wires making Invisalign more visually appealing than traditional braces. As with traditional braces, bands, metal brackets and metal wires may irritate the inside of your mouth, but with Invisalign, the aligners are smooth and comfortable. 
• Traditional Braces – Traditional braces are used and recommended when Invisalign, invisible braces is not suitable. Traditional braces are used in orthodontic treatment to straighten teeth on severe cases of malocclusion.
• Dental Crowns - A dental crown is used for many reasons.  They are most commonly used on a tooth with cracked tooth syndrome, when a post and core has been placed, after root canal therapy or on a large cavity.  There are different types of dental crowns available. 
• Dental Bridges - A dental bridge or bridges are used to replace and fix a missing tooth or missing teeth.  There are different types of dental bridges available.
• Teeth Whitening – Teeth Whitening is a bleaching process that removes discoloration and stains from your teeth, specifically your tooth enamel and dentin. Dr. Dhayni offers a variety of in-office teeth whitening or at-home teeth whitening procedures.
